As promised on my Home page, here's the photo taken by the very talented Michael Sahaida (Sahaida Photography on Smallman Street in Pittsburgh's Strip District) for the Eyetique campaign. Poor Michael had his hands full instructing me on the fine art of Heidi Klum-ing. My thanks to Michael, Tracey and Jennifer for a fun afternoon at the studio, and to Eyetique, retailer of trendy, upscale eyewear.

Sandy appeared with Blue Collar Book Tour authors Dan Burns and Lisa Alzo on KDKA-TV's Pittsburgh Today, Wednesday, September 20th. The trio promoted their book tour and invited readers to come out and see them at book events throughout the city.

Wildest Westerns Magazine, Issue #8 features a nice story about my friend Ben Costello's wonderful book, Gunsmoke: An American Institution (to which I'm a proud contributor!), as well as some photos from Ben's signing at Dark Delicacies, a very cool bookstore in Burbank, CA. I had a great time hanging out with Ben, WWM editor Ed Lousararian, Gunsmoke scripter Jim Byrnes and some wonderful TV/Gunsmoke guest stars like LQ Jones, Paul Picerni and Gregg Palmer. My best friend, comic Mike Buzzelli, was there, too. Ed's magazine is terrific, so I hope you'll check it out! [click the saddle icon to visit the site!]
